25th - Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Thunder Run-
Motorcycle
ride leaving Z&M and Three Rivers Harley Davidson at 9 AM where they
will meet at one point and make one large group. Everyone rides into Pgh
and does a lap around the race course. This is a ride that is police escorted
and led by KDKA personalities John Cigna, Jon Burnette and Barbara Boylan
and WQED's George Miles. Lunch and drinks are provided as well as entertainment.
You can spend the rest of the day watching the races and the car show.
$25 per rider and $15 per passenger. Approximate mileage 50. For more

15 th - Bikers Against Child Abuse Blizzard in
August Poker Run- This
ride begins and ends at the Dairy Queen on Route 66 in Delmont. Registration
begins at Noon. Last bike out at 1 PM. Last bike in at 5 PM. $15 per
rider plus $5 per passenger. One card per motorcycle for each of the
five DQ stops visited. Gift certificates to MM Leather Goods, Chinese

21st - Annual Jake Magalich Memorial Ride-
This
ride is in memory of one of our members and Michelle's late husband.
The ride is approximately 73 miles long. Meet at the intersection of
Rt 22 and Rt 819. Kick stands up at 9:30. We will be ending at Clems
BBQ on Rt 22 - - Jake's favorite restaurant. When we get to Clems, everyone
will buy their own lunch. Michelle has met with the owner and he knows
to stock up on extra food to accomodate our group. There is a new pavillion
that has motorcycle parking near it which is reserved for us. Please

12th- Denny's Beer Barrel Pub Ride - Kick
stands up at 10 AM at Sheetz on Golden Mile Highway in Plum. We'll take
Route 286 North to Clearfield and have lunch at Denny's Beer Barrel
Pub. That should take approximately 2.5 hours and 110 miles. After lunch,
we'll take US 322 to Dubois. Then turn south on US 119 and end the ride
in Greensburg. Total saddle time should be about 5.5 hours and 202 miles.

September 18th - Adagio Health's Community Education
Program Motorcycle Run and Cash Bash-
This
is a fundraiser organized by Sara Sharp to raise money for Adagio's
Education Program. A Covered Bridge Motorcycle Ride and/or Cash Bash
at Shelocta Sportsman Club. (The ride is at no extra cost, but you must
buy a ticket for the cash bash to go on the ride, eat and be elgible
for the ride's giveaway.) Check in for the motorcycle ride starts at
noon and kickstands up at 1:15 PM. The ride will end at the Cash Bash
at 4 PM. Cash Bash's first drawing is at 5 PM. Drawings every 15 minutes!!!
$20 for tickets includes food and beverages. Click
